On 31st May in the morning, a modern baggage facility together with a new baggage transport is going to be opened.
Grant of 85% from the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013 (PLN3,955,055) helped purchasing one of the most modern baggage control equipment - EDS by L 3.
The equipment controls baggage automatically, detecting prohibited objects.
Capacity: 1,800 bags/hour.
To install the equipment it was necessary to rebuild the baggage transport system and adjust the speed of conveyor belts.
Another piece of new equipment is an automatic surveillance of the baggage route from check-in to baggage hold in a plane.
Al. Those solutions enable us to provide even better and safer management of passenger traffic, in particular in the peak of the summer charter season.
